2016. April-June

April and June were good months. 

We loved April and June. 

Warmer weather finally found us in Iowa!! 

My Mom came to visit us for the 2nd time in our new home-- and it just so happened to be her birthday! She got a surprise party from the kids and a cake! 

And.... we did an iowa thing and got baby chicks! 

3 of these baby chicks made it to adult hens! 

We made it back to Liberty in May for KC Temple Run. It was a fun weekend with friends and getting to see the Temple.

Pawpaw Mike (my Dad) came to visit us in June! It was a lot of fun showing him all the fun places we had discovered while living here. As the cold weather left we ventured out, met new friends, and explored! We bought a pass to the aquatic center in town, but soon discovered our swimming pond in the neighborhood was just as fun if not more than the pool! We also have a fishing pond, and a state park not too far away. We even more friends come visit us.

We loved June. 

June was good to us.

Haiden and Kailey both did swim lessons. Haiden improved in swimming so much that he ended up working on diving by the end, and Kailey made leaps and bounds in swimming too. I wish I would have put Logan in lessons as well, but even without the lessons his sister and brother came home and always shared their new moves which ended up improving Logan too. 

Michael purchased this boat which we thought was going to be half this size! Once it was blown up, it took over our entire large living room.  It's quite a big thing to haul to the pond, but it always was well worth it in entertainment.
