After our trip to fun trip to MS, we headed back to MO for another fun time at the Great Wolf Lodge. The best part was that Nana (Margret), Uncle Daniel, Shannon and Kenzie were all able to join us! It was so fun to have them all with us to celebrate!!
We arrived friday to our Kid Cabin hotel room. The kids were very excited- they ran in and of course immediately figured out who would sleep on which bed.
Shortly after we arrived, we set up some birthday decorations and had a short birthday party.
Even though we had a bigger birthday party with a birthday cake in MS, I still wanted to have something theme fitting for a birthday celebration here at the Wolf Lodge. The idea of Ooze Cupcakes was born! With Meme's help, I made watermelon ooze for the center of the cupcakes! It turned out fantastic! (Thank you Meme for your genius help!)
After Ooze Cupcakes, we opened his remaining birthday gifts!
Nana bought a "Paw Pass" for Haiden as well as other fun souvenirs and activities for the kids. The Paw Pass included a game of Magiquest, a wand, a stuffed animal, arcade tokens, a cup of candy, a souvenir cup, etc. It was totally worth it, and Haiden absolutely loved playing Magiquest. He played Magiquest for the rest of the night until it was time for bed. It is a fun interactive game in which you have a wand and complete quests around the hotel.
After a good nights sleep, we woke to a super fun day of water park fun!!
It was a ton of fun! In the center of the room was this huge play center. Behind that was bigger slides, a lazy river, etc. It was hard to get pictures of Haiden because he was constantly on the go.
After a fun filled morning at the water park, we went back to our rooms for lunch, showers, and quick nap before our evening plans!
After we woke, we headed out to finish Magiquest. Haiden was excited to become a Master Magi and defeat the dragon!
