Before heading to bed I took a look at my wife's blog which lead me to my old blog- a total of 4 posts. I've found blogs are for women, or for men who actually share their feelings, and definitely not for lazy people. I posted this close to the beginning of the program. I find it great to look back, remember, and push forward.

Lazy Sunday
I had a great weekend with my family. My Father in heaven truly has blessed me. I wouldn't say anything big happened , but I know I don't want to forget it. So, a blog seems like a good way to record these kinds of things. I took a night off of studying Saturday night (much needed). We went to McDonald's and let Haiden play. He had so much fun. It was the first time I have has a blast watching him. Usually I'll be playing with him, but we let him go at it alone this time. It was great. I loved it so much.He would climbed to the top, and then he just ran circles around the whole tube system. I loved sitting their with Heather, both of us enjoying the moment. I got to take a lot of time with him this weekend. I keep thinking about how old he's going to be when I get out of school (4 1/2 years). I want to make sure he know's he is special to me. I have to study so much, but I am going to make sure him and I both get our time together each day. What a blessing it is being a father. I felt the Spirit today very strongly during General Conference. My testimony has been strengthened once again. It feels great to know something with all my being! I know I love my wife and my son. I know I am going to get through this program. I know Jesus Christ lives. And, I know the meaning of life! What great things to know at any age.

Yes, I'm posting a comment to my own blog. There is the reason why this blog is mainly mine. ha Michael posted this to his facebook (much more manly-er), so I reposted it to OUR blog because I love it! What a great look back. Haiden turned 4 and I have no doubt that our little man knows just how much special and how much he means to us and our family (as well as Kailey and Logan). You, Michael, have done such an amazing job balancing us and school. Thank you for always keeping us first! We love you and are so proud!!
