Happy Happy Birthday!!

This year we went with Jake and the Neverland Pirates theme.  It was such fun planning and decorating for him, but the best was watching him enjoy himself.

This was a fun cake. I stayed up til 3 friday night creating this masterpiece! 

(I see the mistakes, but I'm still happy with how it turned out)

 We bought the action figures to place on it and I think he really loved it.  When we sat down to blow the candles out and sing happy birthday, he wasn't too sure about everyone staring at him. So, we enlisted Haiden to help him blow his candles.

Princess KK wanted to help him open as many gifts as he'd let her.... 

He got some pretty awesome gifts! "Bucky" pirate ship and action figures, spy glass, a chest of pirate accessories, pjs and shirts, a diego play set, a ship tent, TMNT costume mask with bo staff...

 Logan man has played and played. Thank you to everyone who sent gifts-- he has enjoyed them all. 

Haiden is happy about the gifts too. ;))

Sisters. They have each other's back.

This morning they woke, set up the ship, and turned on an episode of Jake and the Neverland Pirates. So fun. 

We love our Logan so very much. It has been a fast/fun/exhausting 2 years and we look forward to so, many, many more years.  

He is tough and loving.

His eyes are so expressive. 

He is quick to smile, scream, and cry.

He thinks he can do everything his older brother and sister can do, and you know.. so far, he has proven he can. 

Don't get in his way though-- he'll tell you "No" and exactly what he thinks quickly. 

He definitely keeps us on our toes, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
