Update, Update, Update ;)

So it has definitely been a while since I've last posted. I'm now 35 weeks pregnant. So I have give or (hopefully) take 4 weeks left. This pregnancy definitely hasn't seemed quick by any means.  I feel like I've been preggo for a long time.  I think that has a lot to do with the fact that I was pregnant again only 7 months or so after we had Kailey.  Her and this little boy will only be 16 1/2 months apart. What were we thinking, right?! :) Well, I can only say that looking back I/we felt like it was time for us to have another.. I know that feeling came from Heavenly Father so even though there are times now when I think "Oh my, what have we gotten ourselves into?", I remember that it is His plan.  The only other thing I have to say about this pregnancy is Braxton Hicks contractions really do hurt. I never knew they did until this time around, but for anyone out there who says "they don't hurt", to them I say "Whatever... wait til your third".
They feel exactly like the real thing, only they don't progressively get worse.  They hurt and then shortly after go away, only to return randomly again.

We had maternity pictures made last week. I never had those done before.. and I have reasons. 1. I gain weight in my face.  So during my 1st pregnancy, I blew up. (yuck.) 2. We never had money even if I wanted to do the maternity shoot.

Good news on the face weight though... With kailey, I only got the "fat face" after delivery.  So needless to say with this third pregnancy, my face hasn't gained much at all... we shall see how it fairs after delivery.  SO! My friend from church is doing a promo and since I am relatively smaller this go around, I am excited to be apart of it. We did maternity, next up is delivery and newborn.  Yes, I did say delivery. :) She is going to be one those I call, and she will be in the room the whole time.  Now, if this were my first, I'd say no (and that's not for the "fat face" thing either) but because everything is new and as a new mom.. well you just don't know how much modesty is thrown out the window when your at the hospital.  I loved having just Michael in there for the first time. But now on the third go around, I really don't care. I know what happens when I enter the hospital and I'm excited to have her in there and see how the photos turn out. I'm super, super excited to see the newborn pictures too! Now, I can honestly say the only reason we never really did a newborn shoot is the money issue.  But I still have a ton of greats ones and I don't have regret over it.  It's just something I would have done if we had the money at the time.

Anyway! Here is a preview of one of the maternity pictures (not seen on facebook). Click on it to make it bigger so you can get the whole picture!!

Doesn't that just melt your heart?? Well, if not.. I understand.. but it totally melts mine every time I look at it! Janna Nielson with newline phOtography did an amazing job.  Thank so much Janna!!!

Now an update on how I'm doing with Michael in Texas:

Well, this month I am doing much better than the previous two months.  THIS IS IT! THE LAST MONTH! And, he gets to come home EARLY.  Instead of leaving there on the 20th, his last day is now the 16th!! It makes me so, so happy! I know I can make it.  I am very happy that this part of his clinicals is over.  It won't be super easy from here on out, but at least he won't be away for 3 weeks at a time anymore.

Another good thing about that is he'll be here when I reach 37 weeks.  Which is awesome, because he will most definitely be here when our lil guy decides to make his way into our family. My mom was able to correctly predict when both Haiden and Kailey were born.  She has picked the 21st, which is week 37.  As long as the baby is ready, and Michael is here, and I also get to see Harry Potter.. I am totally fine with whenever. Yes, I did say Harry Potter.  I am so excited for the movie, but also really sad since it's the last installment.  It's a bittersweet thing that this baby better let me experience before he graces us with his presence. =)

Please keep us in your prayers as the time for labor/delivery creeps up on us.
