This year our oldest, Haiden turned 8 years old!
I can't imagine our life without his smart brain and fun sense of humor. He is genuine, kindhearted, and such a great big brother to his siblings.
This is a "big" birthday year for this little man because not only does he turn 8, but he gets the opportunity to choose to be baptized which is going to be another blog post all on its own. The special occasion brought in a lot of his grandparents, so he decided to have more of family party.

We started our day at Worlds of Fun which gave Haiden an awesome gift: the big ride access wrist band!
When we walked in the park, we had him measured and the birthday boy measured up past 48' for the first time all summer!! It couldn't have happened on a better day-- he was finally able to ride many more of the big rides!
We all took turns riding different roller coasters with the birthday boy!
We are a family who loves to ride coasters, so it was such a thrill to experience that with him!!
When we came home that afternoon we ate his favorite food and began celebrating with a Ninjago Party!
I made him a cake of his favorite Ninjago character!
Later in the evening, we took him back to Worlds of Fun to experience a theme park in the dark! We stayed til closing and rode any ride he wanted!
