Silver Dollar City- Branson Trip

One of our most fun trips this summer has been to Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO!

We were very interested in seeing how our kids would do at a theme park with rides and activities that lasted all day long, and they did fantastic! We spent 2 1/2 days in the park and we all agreed that was the perfect amount of time to take it slow and do everything.

Fireman's Landing is the perfect kid area. It was has great rides that even Ella can ride which she was thrilled!

Silver Dollar City is clean and has a great atmosphere! There is a 20 min Train ride with a bandit show that we really enjoyed!!

Huck and Fin's ride is seriously a water war-zone! It was a lot of fun, but you have to be prepared to wet and mad as there are water shooting gun on the ride as well as all around the sidelines. So, you are spraying each other while on the ride as well the people walking by the ride. And those people will be spraying you too! haha! So really... its a war zone. The boys loved it!

The flooded mine was Logan's most favorite ride! It takes through a mine on water and you get to shoot targets along the way.

Look ya'll my momma rode a rollar coaster with me!

Not only did we ride all the kid themed rides, but thanks to my mom who joined us we were able to ride all the other big coasters too! There were a few that Haiden and even Kailey would ride with us.

Haiden and Kailey's 1st real coaster experience was riding Thunderation!  I don't think Hadien will ever forget it. He had a great time and it is still his most favorite ride!

There was another ride called the Power Keg which both Haiden and Kailey rode as well. It is definitely a fun, thrill ride. On our first ride, Haiden and I rode together and behind us was Michael and Kailey. This ride true to it's name is a power keg-- it shoots you off at a fast speed and launches into quick turns and drops. I was thinking happily "Wow.. poor Haiden!" and then I remembered Kailey was riding too! I looked behind me to see her holding onto Michael for all she was worth and screaming! It was such fun! Kailey promptly said she did not like it, but she did face fears and rode it again on our latest trip back to Branson.

There is also a wooden coaster called Outlaw Run! It's pretty awesome! Michael and I were able to ride it together and it was hands down the scariest and most fun wooden coaster we've rode!

Thank you to my mom for going with us! It was a lot of fun and it was so nice to have an extra hand to help out, another person to ride with, as well as someone for Logan and Ella to sit with during the big rides! You rocked it Gah!
