Our Logan is 1 years old!
My Mom, Meme, and Kenzie came to visit us for the weekend to celebrate and today, Daniel came over! We had a great time. I'm so happy they came... it was nice to have a bit of extra family around for Logan's special day.
Our little guy definitely made the most it-- he officially walked for the first time!! =)) We've been watching him for the past month and thinking it would happen each day... he has been SO close. I've caught Kailey several times literally push him down when he stands up, so that may have had something to do with his progress. BUT today, on his birthday-- with every one around him, and all the excitement of celebrating in the air... he did it!
Meme showed me a thing or two with icing and helped make his birthday cake-- I say 'helped' but she really did most everything. Without her, this cake would have been a lost cause. (MEME: Thank you so much for coming, baking, and sharing some pointers with me!!)
Once he figured out that we wanted him to "dig in" he put on a show. He did a great job absorbing all the attention, pictures, and cake.
We feel so very grateful for this little guy. He is another blessing from Heavenly Father sent straight to our family. I love his personality and how much he adores being apart of everything that goes on. It's heartwarming to say the least to have been blessed to watch him grow and learn this past year. We look forward to many more. =)
