So we took the kids to Target just for a few quick groceries and it turned out to be quite interesting.
Michael decided to play the minion game where we tell the kids what we want, and they go grab it. We called them minions and they made minion noises which was annoying but fun for them. We were on the sauce aisle, when Logan decided to swing from the target buggy. If are you familiar with the extra seater at target, there is a bar that is used to push the whole thing located right above those extra seats and that is what he decided to hang from. He must have lost his grip with his tongue out because the next thing we hear is him crying and blood coming from his tongue.
As you can tell from the picture, he bit a hole in his tongue!
Poor guy. So we found ourselves with 2 minions out grabbing groceries, a tiny Ella who didn't want to sit still in her seat, and a Logan who was gushing blood from this mouth all right in the middle of Target. Oh, and I did not have any wipes on hand.
I ran to get paper towels.. and then we got a slow melt popsicle so that mister Logan could suck and hopefully stop bleeding---
Crisis averted- the blood stopped- and yes, we continued shopping. Our minions went back to following directions and we soon left with a buggy of groceries and bloody paper towels.
One trip to Target worth a blog post I'd say.
As an update, I'd like to say that his tongue is healing- you can still see the hole though.
Ah such memories.
Logan is definitely a stand out personality- Gotta love our 2 year old.
