Our hotel was within walking distance to the park....
Our first stop: Adventure Island to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
We made it!!! This is Hogsmeade. Our first day at the park was Sunday, which happened to be Mother's Day.... which meant low crowds. Hogsmeade is sadly not huge... in fact I thought it was rather small, so being able to be there on Sunday was great.

The Hogwarts Express looked great! It's one of the first things you see as you enter-- and it'll put a smile on any fans face instantly.
The Butter Beer was great. It tasted kinda like cream soda in a way and was topped with a cream. I have no idea what sort of cream... but it was tasty and a must have.
Olivanders! This was pretty cool. It's a long wait to get into this store. When you finally get in, they pick a person in the crowd to "buy a ward". But everyone knows that the ward picks it's user, so that person is asked to try out several wards until one is picked that fits.
The 3 Broom Sticks-- It's a restaurant. We didn't eat there... in all honestly it didn't smell great. I think it was serving rotisserie style chicken.

Dr. Doom. Doesn't he look amazing?
The Green Goblin! This side of the park made us miss Haiden and the whole time we just kept thinking of how he will love this!
On to the other side of the park where we watched a parade that featured Dispicable Me characters, Sponge Bob, Dora the Explorer, etc. It was cute!
After playing there for a bit, we ate at Margaritaville.....
And then went to see The Avengers!
All in all it was a great, long day! We were like ants in a candy dish. Even though we had 3 more days ahead of us, we went at full speed to see everything we wanted to see! At the end of the day, I was personally exhausted. The next day... my legs hated me!
