Meet Our New Home.

A big changed happened in our family this year! We bought a home!! 

We rented in Liberty, MO for 2 years. As the end of our lease approached, we began discussing what we wanted to do next.  We talked about renting for another year, and we discussed buying a home with intentions of it turning into a "rental" after a year.  We started taking steps in looking for a rental home.  We looked at many homes and even put in a couple offers on various options. Somehow through the process we began looking at bigger homes that were still in our price range, but not necessarily "rental" homes. We found more options that would fit our family comfortably, and as if it was just meant to happen, we found a newly listed house that not only fit our current needs with growing room, but was in our price range. 

And, just like that minus a few details we became homeowners!! 

Meet our home: 

We closed on Thursday, February 27th and moved in on Friday, February 28th. 

Packing was a mess with kiddos all around (especially with Ella pushing herself between my legs), but we managed to get everything packed in one weekend! 

No applause needed for our achievement- it happened so quickly because our rental house was small and we don't have a ton of stuff. 

We hired movers which made the process a bit less stressful. 

The hard part was cleaning the rental house.  We cleaned a little on Friday night, and then had a couple church friends help us on Saturday morning.  We finished cleaning by around 1pm, and by 3 pm it began to snow! 

By Saturday evening, our new home was covered in snow! Needless to say, we felt super relieved that we had moved in on Friday. 

One of the first rooms that we unpacked was the playroom: 

Our new home is exactly what we were praying and looking to find.  

We feel truly blessed to be in this phase of life. 

I can say without any doubt that right now we are exactly where the Lord wants our family to be and we are happy here. 

I don't have any other pictures of the inside until we finish decorating.  We may be super fast at unpacking, but it takes about a million years for us to hang pictures on the wall.

 So, Family, until then you will just have to come visit us.
